2.04 "Everybody Hates Hugo"
Episode Title: Everybody Hates Hugo
Episode Number: 28
Production Number: 204
Air Date: 10/12/05
Flashback: The flashback focuses on Hurley as well, and his life as a multi-millionaire lottery winner. He chooses not to share that fact with anyone, however, and instead goes about his business before becoming a winner. But the numbers are haunting his life and there is no going back.
OMG moment: Sawyer, Jin, and Michael learn that their captors are not the Others, but rather survivors from the tail of the plane (hence their collective moniker, "Tailies"). The most worrying part of their story is that, while there were originally 23 survivors, only five are left, due to selective kidnappings by the Others. On a happy note, Rose's missing husband, Bernard, is among the living Tailies.
Questions and clues: Who would blame the survivors for freaking out about that hatch? It's just plain weird and raises more questions for an already puzzled group of people. There's a large magnetic force behind one of the hatch walls. And what is the significance of Hurley's vexing numbers?

In Hurley's opening dream sequence (eating all the food), he takes a drink from a milk carton. Walts face is on a 'missing' ad on the side of this.
