2.14 "One of Them" - ABC.com - Official LOST wikiSynopsis: Things start to get really complicated when Rousseau leads Sayid to a trap she set in the jungle. She has captured a man Sayid suspects may be one of the Others, but the prisoner claims he is a man named Henry Gale, an innocent victim of a balloon crash elsewhere on the island. Sayid decides to bring Henry Gale back to the hatch to find out the truth. Sayid shares the news of Henry with only Jack and Locke. They think it’s best to keep his presence a secret from the rest of the survivors until they can determine who he is.

Flashback: This episode focuses on Sayid and his time in the Iraqi army during the Gulf War. Sayid is forced to torture his own people in order to survive, but it’s an experience that changes him forever.

The Army commander that is dealing with Sayid is also Kate's adoptive father (not the one she blew up, but the one she went to visit in the Army offices.)
