OMG Moments:

  • Naomi's boat is "NOT PENNY'S BOAT"!
  • Charlie's "Greatest Hits" are given.
  • Charlie leaves his "DS" ring behind and we find out the back story about the famous ring.
  • Charlie finds people in the new station.
  • Sayid puts his foot in Jack's rear, FINALLY!
  • The Underwater Hatch (The Looking Glass) is finally revealed!!

New Clues:

  • Sayid said that "The Looking Glass" had a moon pool that was big enough for a Submarine to dock.
    • It does and Sayid was right.

Questions:

  • Desmond is lying?
    • We never saw Desmond's premonition (like before). So I think he is probably lying to Charlie because he wants to be rescued at any price.
  • People were in "The Looking Glass" station underwater. Could these people be the last remaining survivors of the Dharma Initiative?
    • No.
  • Why would "Dharma Initiative survivors" keep blocking radio signals, helping Benthe Others' agenda?
    • They weren't Dharma survivors. They were working for Ben secretly, even from the Others' themselves. Only Ben knew they were down there.
  • We saw two women in the Looking Glass, could this be where all of the "dead" pregnant women really are?
    • No, it is just an underwater radar/radio station.
  • Juliet said that Ben told her that the Looking Glass was flooded. Who was lying Juliet or Ben?
    • Ben said it himself that he was lying to Mikhail, Juliet, and the rest of his people about the Looking Glass. (Sorry can't remember the quote.)

Trivia:

Theories:

#1: The Surreal of " Greatest Hits": After last weeks mind boggling episode, it was kind of nice for a less strenuous exercise,,but geez,,they didn't have to kill the rabbit. Some pretty good visual metaphor there with Alex,, bloody hand, taking the gun back from Daddy..yeow! The rabbit for Carl definitely is dead..Alex is a Woman now..??..I say that because there seemed to me a even ...larger " female" metaphor in this episode,,and that is..Charlie, dieing the metaphorical death,,but not the usual manner of a one way ticket off the island,,but a ...return to a womb, yea, , the cord seemed to be a umbilical cord and Charlie, Mr Failure...failed to fail..He didn't die. As he announced..I'm alive!..So, hes like back in the womb..with the list of the five " good and Human" moments of his life fresh in his mind..and of course two female characters now to deal with him..Interesting that he " surrendered" to them,,with a smirk...Yes.. Lots of Female in this episode. I mean how..poignant ..was Juliet's reply to Carl's hysteria, " Yes, they know, but thanks anyway.." Little throw-away lines like that just make this show special...Of course the banter between Berny and Rose was almost cliche,, in the middle of the polar opposites..and on the opposite extreme,, was good old Jack, being all the Leader he could be. Logic ( Jack) will not get the Losties off the Island by himself though..Yet there is a future where Charlie pulls the switch. Quite the metaphor, or play on words,, imho..there. Mr Failure,,after some time in the womb..is reborn to realize his " potential" as a Human Being? Seems to me as the finale approaches..the great Easter Egg..Only Fools Are Enslaved By Time and Space" is making it presence felt. Those who can't or are unable to escape the box of their existence are in for a tough time..ie..Locke,and possibly Sawyer. But the writers have given Charlie a 2nd chance..Even Jack seems to be a tad more willing to others opinions and input.

At least three episodes in a row there has been the Alice In WonderLand/ Through the Looking Glass reference. To appreciate the subtly of all that,, it helps to know a bit about Lewis Carrol, or the real name of those flights of fancy....Charles Dodgson...Try to see, that he was a mathematician..was involved with the development of the Booyabon(spl) logic or the very early foundation of binary mathematics that led to modern day computer languages..This guy ,, while being a noted mathematician, logic in a purified form, also wrote the great Alice In Wonderland and Through The Looking Glass children stories..What seems at first glance as polar opposites or at least full stretch of a person's potential..keep in mind that the Alice stories,,while being wild and fanciful..are actually built on Logic and make Logical sense as voiced by Alice..Dodgson was actually having great fun with the Illusion of Logic. The Alice stories can be seen as Logic made ridiculous.

Dodgson was also a man of the cloth I believe and there was at least a few young pre-teen girls of friends and family who he loved to make up stories for.Supposedly, there was a favorite of his, he made time for special stories,,who became his model for Alice. Its my understanding, his downfall was getting interested in photography,, and being discovered to have taken pictures of pre-teen girls,,in innocent poses and costumes, that included nudity...Pressure from "society" stopped his flights of fancy and alas, no more Alice stories ever came forth from Dodgson again.

In the guest star list, it says Nadia (The woman in Sayid's flashbacks) will be in this episode. How can she be in it if there will be flashbacks of Charlie?

Sorry to be obvious and quite dumb but wouldn't it be simpler for them just to cut the power to the station instead of sending someone on a suicide mission?? Even if there was a generator for power failures there it wouldn't last forever would it ?

Did anyone notice that in the flashback of Charlie before he saves Nadia, he was singing, it was the same place and time as when we saw him in Desmond's flashbacks earlier on. Yet Desmond wasn't in that flashback. Also, I think that if Charlie does die, Desmond would also die. Desmond only has a flash if he is in it. We also see him in the underwater station in the preview. If Charlie does press the button and flood the station, Desmond would be in it too.

WE NEVER SAW DESMOND'S PREMONITION LIKE BEFOR SO I THINK HE ES PROBABLY LYING TO CHARLY BECAUSE HE WANT TO BE RESCUE AT ANY PRICE AND THATS WHY HE SAID THAT ABOUT CLAIRE.
JUST AN IDEA
