Noor Abed Jaseem (a.k.a. Nadia)

Biography: Noor 'Nadia' Abed Jaseem is Sayid's former childhood friend and long lost love.

Her story

Childhood sweetheart of Sayid Jarrah, they found themselves on opposite sides of a war when she became a revolutionary against the Iraqi Republican Guard. Sayid was assigned to torture and eventually execute her, but instead helped her to escape. Nadia is currently living in Irvine, California, just south of Los Angeles (and recently bought a house which Locke inspected), where Sayid was headed on Oceanic 815. She works as a lab tech in an unknown medical testing company.

In "Greatest Hits", Nadia is in one of Charlie's flashbacks. She was in an alley getting mugged, and then Charlie saved her from the mugger. She proclaimed him to be her hero since 3 (which makes Charlie the fourth person and is a reference to the numbers) other people had walked by without helping.

After Sayid left the Island he married Nadia, shortly after she was murdured. Her body was returned ti Iraq for burial.
