Inman did make it to the island, he is Kelvin and was in the hatch w/ Desmond....and now Locke's dad is on the island too...they should fix this 2  out of 3 found this valuable. Do you?

Yes but he is only shown on the island in a flashback episode of Desmond,the season two finale.
